Newsletter #7 COVID-19 Prayer request (2020)
Hello!
As you know, I am currently Leading Our Discipleship Training School at YWAM Montana Lakeside and I was planning to take an outreach team to Ukraine and Greece to work with Muslum Refugees and sending another team to Indonesia to work with unreached Muslum people, both teams leaving in just over two weeks. Unfortunately we have run into some problems in regards to the coronavirus so I am coming to you with an urgent prayer request.
As I'm sure you already know, the Coronavirus has continued to spread and we have been tracking the situation as it pertains to the well being of our teams. From the first report of this illness we have been following reports from the CDC (Center for Disease Control), the WHO (World Health Organization) and the US State Department. In addition to this are the variety of articles and updates by both health professionals and news outlets.
Now, because of the continual spread in Asia and across Europe, along with the recommendations from the CDC and WHO, we are changing our outreach locations to Central, South America or the Caribbean islands and will no longer be going anywhere in Asia or Europe. We will continue to monitor the situation and make necessary adjustments to ensure the well being of all of our people. We will also continue to inform the teams on how to stay healthy and what to be aware of while traveling.
PLEASE PRAY:
We are in the process of reaching out to different locations for outreach and are needing to sort things out to be able to send our teams on outreach in less than three weeks. Please Pray that we will be able to make a wise decision. If the Lord puts anything on your heart please share it with me!
